i like having definitive answers to problems and questions. i like equality and fairness.

however, life is frickin complicated and unfair. you can never win. this shit drives me crazy.

nothing in life is black and white

there is always a trade-off.

  • republicans and democrats

    • they have different policies that affect different types of people

      • both parties harm and help different types of citizens

      • at the end, the minority are the people who suffer

        • this sucks because there are people that ALWAYS end up suffering

  • work, life balance

    • the more you work, the more financially stable you become

      • but you miss out on valuable time with your loved ones

    • the more you spend time with family and friends

      • the more money you lose, risking financial instability

  • independence vs. being with family/friends

    • ex: wanting to move out of your home town, away from your parents to experience something new.

      • however, doing things for yourself conflicts with spending time with your aging parents and family members

      • if i leave home to venture off into my own journey, i am going to regret leaving my family. if i stay at home, i will regret not going on my own journey to experience new things.

this shit is so ass. no matter what is done, it is hard to ever be fulfilled.

it's like the simulation was made so that there will always be problems.

in a perfect world, we are all born on equal playing fields

this shit is fucking unfair. i feel guilty sometimes that i have it so fucking easy, while others suffer. i could have easily been born into their situations. i can't even imagine how hard it would be.

and the sad thing is, it's a problem we can't solve. no matter what, there will always be war, famine, and hate in this world. and there will be people born in the middle of it, while the rest of us enjoy peaceful lives.

the sad shit is, people get killed everyday. disease, famine, murder etc... they don't even have the chance to live their lives. i think that's the saddest part. these people are treated like a statistic. it's not even their fault!! they do not have the chance to fully enjoy life.

shit doesn't make sense. why aren't we born into equal situations? what the freak.

however, for those who are living, we all face the same emotions

none of us chose to be born into our situations. some people are born in war-stricken, third-world countries. they struggle to put food on the table and worry about surviving every day. and some people are born into rich and caring families, with all their needs met.

however, even on opposite ends of the spectrum, people still face challenges — suffering, depression, sadness, and anger.

we feel the same emotions but battle different problems. i will get more into this in another blog post.

in conclusion, life is unfair. some things are out of our control.

however, there are things that are in our control. i think it is necessary to help others, no matter how small the deed is. yes, in the grand scheme of things, billions of people are still suffering and one small deed for one person is not much. however, it is still important to act instead of complain.

thanks for reading!
